Terroir, appliedto water.

In wine, terroir is the complete natural environment behind a bottle: soil, topography, climate. Water works the same way. The geology it passes through gives it a mineral signature you can taste.

Each cartridge holds carefully processed geological material in a flow-through design. Opus purifies your water to nothing, then the terroir gives it somewhere to be from.

Kyushu, Japan

Izumi Basalt™

Rain that falls on Kyushu filters through young volcanic basalt for decades before surfacing as the soft, faintly sweet water of Japanese tea culture.

Silky mouthfeel, delicate volcanic minerals, an ultra-smooth finish. Ideal for green tea, delicate cooking, and everyday drinking for sensitive palates.
